Under both Church and civil law, each parish must have a Finance Council. The purpose of the council is to exercise proper stewardship over parish finances and to report on those finances to the Board of Directors of the Parish Corporation. The Board of Directors consists of the Archbishop (President), the Vicar General (Vice-president), the Pastor (Secretary General), and the two lay trustees. The Pastor must appoint at least THREE respected and competent people to serve as members of the Finance Council. No terms are specified.
