The Charity of Christ Compels Us... 2 Corinthians 5:14
As the Church Gathered at Shrub Oak, we 4000 families and singles, of all ages and backgrounds, residing in Northern Westchester and Putnam counties, are one of the 294 Catholic parishes in the 10 counties of the Archdiocese of New York. We have responded to the summons of the Savior by choosing to intertwine our lives with that of Christ and with each other, as the first parish in the world graced with the name of Elizabeth Ann (Bayley) Seton, the first American-born saint.
Masses: Wednesday, May 25th, 5:30pm
Thursday: 7:00, 9:00, 12noon , 7:00pm
We Catholics are required to participate in the Eucharist this Thursday. Please pass along the word so your friends and family members may fulfill their obligation as practicing Catholics. Confessions will be available after the 9am Mass and Noonday Adoration will still take place.
Please consider becoming a part of your Parish Council! New faces and ideas help to keep the parish vibrant! Eight new members are required at this time. They will serve for three years and will fill vacancies left by those whose terms are ending. The Council meets about 6 times a year on the last Monday of the month, and advises the pastor on parish matters. Names will be chosen at random on Sunday, June 5th at the 11 AM Mass. If you would like to nominate someone (or yourself), please click here to submit a name (yours or anothers). All nominations must be received no later than Monday, May 30th. Parishioners age 17 or older may be nominated. Any questions call Janet Angelillo, 914-245-9248.
We will celebrate graduates of all ages, Sunday, June 5th at 9:30AM. Academic attire is recomended (Cap and Gown). All Graduates will Receive a Speical Blessing

" If our gift is to speak God's message, we should do it according to the faith that we have; if it is to serve, we should serve; if it is to teach, we should teach; if it is to encourage others, we should do so. Whoever shares with others, should do it generously; whoever has authority, should work hard; whoever shows kindness to others, should do it cheerfully. "
