Did you know that the word Catechist means “to echo?” Our catechists echo the “Word of
God” to our young disciples.

Did you know that most potential catechists do not have a degree in education, religion or
theology?

Did you know that over the summer we will have workshops for the various grade levels
on lesson planning, classroom management, prayer, etc.?

Did you know that our catechists’ manuals are easy to use and are a tremendous help to all our catechists? They are written to assist those volunteers who have no experience in
teaching Religious Education.

Don’t think you could teach? We could also use classroom assistants and hall monitors.
