Newly ordained Fr. Adolfo Novio has arrived at Seton and will be present for the Masses this weekend . Father has been assigned, as a Parochi al Vic a r, in our parish . Fr. Novio, 36 years-old, was born in the Philippines, where abandoned by his father before birth, he was raised in an orphanage operated by the Daughters of Charity. His mother went there to have her baby boy and to work as a cook. He decided to act on his growing sense of vocation to the priesthood after hearing Pope John Paul II at the 1995 World Youth Day. He came to the United States to study at St. Joseph Seminary, and was ordained a diocesan priest on Saturday, May 24th. We wish him a warm Seton welcome!
