The Charity of Christ Compels Us... 2 Corinthians 5:14
WE WILL HAVE AN IN-PERSON “OPENING DAY”.
We will BEGIN Scheduling Masses for 2025 on
Friday, November 8, 2024
In the Parish Center
¨ Copies of the 2025 Mass Intention Request Form can be found in the vestibules of the Church and on the Parish website (www.seton-parish.org). A copy will also be sent out via Flocknote. If you are not presently receiving Flocknote emails, but would like to, please call the office at (914) 528-3547, ext. 1
¨ Due to the large size of our parish, it is absolutely First Come, First Serve. We will first process requests brought in on “Opening Day” 11/8/24. Those who are homebound or unable to attend may mail in their requests along with a check or cash with the proper offering. These requests will be processed after the initial opening (No Exceptions). Please do not call in your requests. We cannot process requests over the phone.
¨ Each parish family is allowed 4 scheduled Masses at this time (up to 3 of these can be on separate Sundays). ALL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED ON THE FORM WHICH IS ON THE REVERSE SIDE. NO EXCEPTIONS. *This is only for Opening Day. Further Masses may be requested once “opening day” is fully processed.
¨ Christmas Vigil & Christmas Day, Holy Thursday, Easter Vigil, and Easter Masses, All Souls’ Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are always for the intentions of the Living and Deceased Members of the Parish, etc. In addition, one Mass per weekend is for the intention of the Parishioners of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
¨ Only 1 Mass per day can be reserved for any individual intention.
¨ No Mass will be reserved in the book without a stipend.
¨ There will be no limit on unannounced Mass requests. The Mass stipend remains $20 for an announced Mass and $10 for an unannounced Mass.
¨ Please also note that Church rules prefer only one intention (person) per Mass. However, for pastoral reasons and to better accommodate the needs of the parishioners, we will adhere to the following possibilities: Only two first names with the same last name (John and Mary Smith). Two last names only (Scott and Smith Families).
