(This event will be livestreamed) As Catholics we need to be attentive to the sin of racism wherever it may be found, especially in our nation, communities, parishes, families and even in our own hearts. Also as Catholics, Church teaching offers us a way to help bring about the healing and reconciliation, justice and peace that is needed now more than ever. Father Smith, by means of personal witness and teaching, will help us to see how we can move forward together. Father Smith is the Parochial Vicar of Annunciation – Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Crestwood and a member of the Archdiocesan Office of Black Ministry. He is a contributor to a current Westchester Magazine piece on racism.
