Location:Outside Main Entrances of the School & Church
At all of the Masses on the weekend of Nov. 16-17, Seton’s Holy Name Society members will be collecting non-perishable food to be delivered to St. Mary’s Community Food Pantry in time for Thanksgiving. All parishioners are encouraged to contribute to this effort as a way to help those families in the area who are in need. Items that are requested include: Canned Turkey or Pork Gravy, Canned vegetables (corn, peas, sweet potatoes/yams, spinach, potatoes), Packaged Mashed Potatoes, Packaged Stuffing, Soup (broth, cream of mushroom), Canned fruit (pineapple, cranberries, mixed fruit, pears, applesauce), Desserts (cake mix, brownie mix, frosting, pie crust, pie filling, packaged pudding or Jell-O), Baking goods (flour, sugar, corn muffin mix), Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Canned or Bottled Juice, Powdered Milk, Cereal, Pasta, Tuna….and grocery store gift cards. NOTE: Please double check all expiration dates!
