The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Holy Name Society founded in 1963, promotes reverence and love for the name of Jesus by spreading and increasing love for the sacred name of Jesus through word and example, while avoiding disrespect to the name of God, of Jesus, and of holy things
through the abstention from improper language. The society prudently strives to encourage others to abstain from insults to God and all immoral speech. We gather for a monthly Sunday Mass, after which we have a business meeting, discussing Society service to the parish,
and sharing refreshments and camaraderie. We visit members who are ill, attend wake services for our deceased, and participate at an annual November memorial Mass for our deceased. In mid-December, members help to decorate the interior and exterior of the church. At
Christmas time, we visit and present Christmas gifts to all Seton homebound parishioners. The spiritual highpoints of our year are the Annual Men’s Retreat Weekend, and Annual Men’s
Communion Breakfast, which all Seton men are invited to attend. We also sponsor an annual golf outing to raise money for Seton Regional School scholarships. All men of the Parish are
encouraged to be a part of this ministry.
