Cardinal Dolan has assigned Father Jean-Pierre Seon to Seton as our new Parochial Vicar. Father Seon, was born and raised in the Queens at Immaculate Conception Parish in Astoria. He attended Holy Cross High School in Queens and Manhattan College in the Bronx, graduating with a degree in mathematics and education. After working in campus ministry for a few years, he entered St. Joseph’s Seminary. He was ordained a priest at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral by Cardinal Dolan in 2016. As a seminarian, he served at St. Anthony of Padua, West Harrison; St. Kateri Tekakwitha, LaGrangeville; and Sacred Heart and Holy Cross in the Bronx. Since ordination to the priesthood, he was Parochial Vicar at St. Brandan, the Bronx and St. Augustine, Ossining. He joins us this weekend. We welcome him to our Seton Parish Family!
