The Parish Council has formally petitioned the pastor to establish a weekly “Multiple Intention” Mass and have recommended Saturday Mornings at 9am as the ideal time. This is in response to many who have mentioned the difficulty in having a Mass celebrated, especially on short notice.  Father Quarato has accepted the petition and established that as of April 2018, the 9am Mass on Saturday (when there is a 9am Mass on Saturday) will be what Canon Law (Church Law) calls a Collective Intention Mass to be limited to five (5) individual intentions (and/ or names).  The offering will be the same and Mass Cards will be issued. Mass cards will indicate that this is a Collective Intention Mass. The multiple intentions/names will be printed in the bulletin and the lectors will read all of the intentions/names, as is currently the practice.
