January 22, 2020 marks the 47th anniversary of the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision that effectively legalized abortion on demand in the United States. Every year, Seton Parish joins with Americans around the nation in fasting, prayer, and peaceful witness to remember the millions of lives affected by the tragedy of abortion.
On Friday, January 24th, while our pilgrims are demonstrating and praying in Washington, DC at the annual March for Life, we will have two special periods of prayer for the unborn and an end to abortion in our nation.
2:00pm Seton School Rosary for Life
8:00-9:00pm Holy Hour for Life with Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction and a special Rosary for Life
Come and pray with us! Bring your children! All are welcome! “A great prayer for life is urgently needed, a prayer which will rise up throughout the world. Through special initiatives and in daily prayer, may an impassioned plea rise to God, the Creator and lover of life, from every Christian community, from every group and association, from every family and from the heart of every believer.”
– Pope Saint John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae, no. 100.
