Boy Scout Matthew Worth is clearing the Lakeland HS side of the church as an Eagle Scout Project. Parishioner Don Hatcher, an Arborist, not only helped the scouts with their project, but has offered advice and help with cleaning up other areas of the property.
The US Bishops have requested that a special collection be taken for the relief of those suffering from the earthquake in Mexico and hurricanes in Florida, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

We have installed baby changing tables in the auditorium / gym restrooms. This will make it easier for mom and/or dad to clean up Jr.’s little messes while attending Mass in Our Lady Memorial Chapel or while attending a CYO game.
The Parish Council has formally petitioned the pastor to establish a weekly “Multiple Intention” Mass and have recommended Saturday Mornings at 9am as the ideal time.

We recently received the former Seton shrine from the Cathedral and are invited to the dedication of the new one. On October 8th a bus will leave from (in front of) the church at 1:30pm (right after the 12:30pm Mass) and return by 6:30pm. Over the next 9 months, the Respect Life Committee will bring attention to the realities of abortion by providing monthly information, displaying a model that tracks fetal development and encouraging congregants to participate in a spiritual adoption.
Cardinal Dolan has asked all parishes to take up a special second collection this weekend. Checks may be made out to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, and one parish check will be sent out to the Cardinal early this week so that we might help those most in need as soon as possible.
