Currently Seton’s Girl Scouts are without adult leaders. Women of the parish are especially needed to help. Were you a Girl Scout when you were young? Are you a woman who would like to help form young girls for the future?
SIX YEARS AGO, SOMEONE INVITED ME TO BECOME A EUCHARISTIC MINISTER, SPECIFICALLY, A MINISTER TO THE HOMEBOUND PARISHIONERS OF ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON. AT THE TIME, I HAD NO NOTIONS OF INVOLVEMENT IN ANY KIND OF PARISH MINISTRY OR EVEN THE PARISH COMMUNITY.
The Seton “Bulldogs” parish basketball program provides an opportunity for youngsters (Grades 3 to 8) to develop their athletic skill and leadership abilities, as well as learn the benefits of competition and teamwork, in a safe and healthy environment.
Seton’s own Brian Engelhart pronounced public vows of poverty, chastity and obedience in the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) on August 10th at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
Our Religious Ed program is planning for our upcoming school year. We will need additional catechists from 4:30-6pm on the following days for the grades indicated: Monday—Grade 1 and Wednesday – Grades 2, 4, 6 & 7. Classroom aides are also needed on almost all days in all grades.
