The youth of Seton enjoyed tremendous success on the court this year. Our parish fielded a record 22 teams, providing an opportunity for more than 200 Seton children to experience a positive, character-building experience through the vehicle of sports.
Our parishioners are asked to donate canned goods in a 40 day Lenten food drive by the Knights of Columbus. Cans will be collected in the gym and vestibule starting Ash Wednesday and continue throughout Lent.
Seton School is proud to announce that our 8th grade Class of 2020 received $277,700 in academic scholarships to John F. Kennedy Catholic High School, Our Lady of Lourdes, Maria Regina High School, Iona Preparatory School, Regis High School, Sacred Heart High School, Archbishop Stepinac High School, and The Ursuline School.
Work is proceeding according to schedule. A few inspections remain to get the CO. Parish groups wanting to use the new facility are requested to schedule their usage with the rectory office. Other groups considering using the facility should speak with Fr. Quarato.
New FCC regulations required us to transition out of the 600 MHz service band and necessitated installation of new antennas, receivers and wireless units. You should notice the improved audio with this next generation equipment. The work was done by a team from Monte Bros. Sound Systems of Ardsley, NY.
Please deposit unwanted old blessed palm branches in the container in the main lobby of the church. The palm will be burned on Monday evening, February 24th and the resulting ash used on Ash Wednesday, February 26th.
