The Charity of Christ Compels Us... 2 Corinthians 5:14
Ensuring the financial stability of the parish, the finance committee members provide counsel to the pastor on financial matters pertaining to the parish. This counsel includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: assistance in the development of the annual parish budget;
review of the monthly financial statements, actual versus budget; the review and approval of various parish committee budgets; the review and approval of requests for major capital expenditures. They also assist the pastor in other special income requirements. This committee has been in existence since the parish’s inception and exercised a major role in the
building of the Church, school, rectory and chapel. The committee meets regularly and
continually seeks new ideas and insights toward the challenge of ongoing parish
fiscal stability.
