Mass aids: Mass readings and music are available on this website: www.seton-parish.org.
For your safety, the church is sanitized every day between services.
Pews are marked for social-distance seating for individuals and groups of individuals who live in the same household. The blue tape designates where you are not supposed to sit.
Ushers will provide extra face masks as needed. Face masks covering nose and mouth are required in the church and during services.
Collection boxes are available at church entrances.
The sign of peace, already optional, is omitted.
Holy Communion:
All communion ministers are trained to wear a mask during distribution and to sanitizer their fingers if they happen to touch a communicant.
Please observe safe-distancing when coming up for Holy Communion. We ask that you file up one pew at a time.
Do remove all gloves if you choose to receive Holy Communion in the hand.
Remember to pull down your mask when standing before the minister, right before you receive the Sacred Host. One should not fiddle with their mask while holding the Sacred Host.
Holy Communion on the tongue: Although we encourage all to prayerfully consider receiving the Eucharistic in the hand during the pandemic, in keeping with the United States Bishops’ guidelines we respectfully invite those who prefer to exercise their legitimate option to receive on the tongue to come up at the end of the communion line.
Please do not leave used wipes, masks, gloves and/or bulletins in the pews when you leave. Trash containers are available by the hand sanitizer dispensers at the church doors.
